Gender Scans

Not all pregnant women want to know the sex of their baby. However, some do want to know for various reasons; mostly to do their shopping and prepare the room.

We do recommend strongly that you wait to have your baby gender scan after 20 weeks when genitalia have differentiated enough for the ultrasound scan to identify them. The ultrasound scan is highly accurate, though we always say, it is not 100% guaranteed.

Precisely because this is such a momentous occasion for you and your family, many pregnant women prefer to find out the gender of their baby before they give birth.  20 weeks into your pregnancy, you may take a baby gender scan to determine whether you have a baby boy or a baby girl.  By this time, the genitalia of your baby is more developed.  For those that opt to find out on the day they deliver, our attendants will keep your baby’s secret to themselves!
